Gophers, Moles and Voles Oh My!
Peter’s yard abutted an open space and was a haven for gophers, moles and voles. With the installation of a synthetic lawn, these rodents moved to the neighbors. Between the highly compacted sub base, the lack of water and the elimination of grass roots for the grubs (mole food) to feed on, there is nothing to attract these yard wreckers.
A Mud Bog
Jennifer’s two active sons still used the mud bog that was the back yard for baseball and soccer so she spent her time with laundry and mopping up behind them. After her GreenSpace Grass installation, there was no more mud, no grass stains, no grass clippings, only healthy happy kids and more free time for her. Our grass drains five times faster than ordinary grass – that’s over 27 inches per hour per square yard – so even after a downpour the boys are out playing but staying dry.
A Dog Patch
Kathleen’s Golden Retriever was making a mess of the side yard of her town home. She originally thought she could not afford synthetic turf, but GreenSpace Grass used remnants and a deferred payment plan to deliver a cost effective solution. Both Kathleen and Sierra are delighted.
Creating More Space
Mike grew up in the flat lands of the Midwest and spent his youth both playing in the yard and mowing it. Living on a hill side in Marin he wanted the flat part for his kids but didn’t want to mow it. Too Small to Mow
John hated hauling out his mower every time the 150 square foot postage stamp of a back yard needed mowing. When GreenSpace Grass quoted him the price to replace this nuisance with a putting green he was very pleasantly surprised. His three putts are way down but his brother-in-law continues to beat him because he has a practice green too!
The Education of an Environmentalist
Suzanne, a conservationist from the old school, was enlightened when her husband finally persuaded her to meet with GreenSpace Grass. Learning that turf grass was not native to California and that keeping it green and healthy was anything but natural, she was finally converted by the increasing amount of data demonstrating that on whole, a synthetic lawn is more environmentally friendly than an ordinary one.
From Patio to Playground
Jim and Katie purchased their home from empty nesters and the back yard patio was not particularly child friendly. GreenSpace Space laid in a section of foam cushioning and topped it with play ground grass. The kids have a soft place to play and mom and dad can still entertain guests (and their kids) on the rest of the patio.
Saving Time and Money
Two brothers, both retired, wanted to retire their lawn. Ben was tired of caring for it and Tony was tired of writing a check every month to the gardener to mow, blow and go. A substantial discount was negotiated and now both brothers spend more time and less money enjoying their peaceful paradise.
